ReCycle North is best known for our friendly, neighborhood thrift store: The Household Goods Store (HGS). People from all walks of life shop at the HGS to find a reliable supply of quality used furniture, appliances, computers and other items for the home at affordable prices. Most of the HGS inventory is donated by generous individuals and businesses in the community. All donations are tax deductible. A pickup and delivery service is available for a fee. In 2005, sales at the HGS exceeded $340,000. All proceeds from the sale of goods at the HGS help ReCycle North fulfill our 3-part mission to promote reuse, offer job-skills training, and relieve poverty.
