Apprentice-Style Training

apprentice-style training

Apprentice-style training is a six-month program focused on work-based learning. Trainees are incorporated into the daily reuse operations of their department at ReCycle North where they gain technical knowledge and vital customer service experience. Classroom instruction is provided twice a week to work on job-readiness skills such as communication, grammar, basic math, financial, computer and problem solving skills. Trainees learn to write effective cover letters as well as a professional résumé and begin their job search with the assistance of our Employment Specialist.

Apprentice-Style training is available in four departments:

Customer Service/Retail Management

Major Appliance Repair

Office Administration
