Community Service

ReCycle North provides a meaningful experience for individuals who need to complete mandated community service for either educational institutions or the justice system. Agencies making referrals include local colleges and high schools, the Community Justice Center , Chittenden County Court Diversion and Probation and Parole Services. ReCycle North’s structured program ensures that participants understand how their efforts directly promote the organization’s reuse and poverty relief mission. Few other organizations in the state routinely employ the skills and energy of so many mandated community service participants while providing a high level of supervision and coaching.
